FEAR WAS…

What was incomprehensible for everyone is how they could put a bomb in a corner of San Juan and 70th, where everyone walks by at 8 o’clock in the morning to go to work. People who have nothing to do with the conflict, who are simply aware of it but do not have anything to do with it. People who owe nothing to Pablo Escobar, nor to the State, nor to the police, nor to anyone else, and who die just like that. One moment someone is holding a little girl’s hand on the way to school and then dead the next.  That is when you ask yourself what is that?, it was just impossible to understand.
