UNA MALETA DE DOBLE FONDO
De una uno no cayó en cuenta de eso, pero a nosotros nos tocó vivir con mucha claridad lo que fue la aparición de los nuevos ricos o mágicos, en el Barrio San Pablo. Cuando llegaron los personajes, eran un familión: 12 ó 13 personas y muchos niños, dos o tres carros lujosos.
Los pelaos eran distintos a nosotros y llenos de juguetes, con montañas de carritos. Cuando hacían fiestas llenaban la manzana de carros y llegaba gente de la Policía y el Ejército.
Fueron los primeros con televisión a color.
Después de que los cogió la Policía, aparece un recuerdo de la prensa con una imagen con todos esos manes masacrados.

A FALSE BOTTOM SUITCASE
Most do not realize, but we had to live, up close, the appearance of the new rich or magicos[*] (Drug Lords), in the neighborhood of San Pablo. When these people arrived, they were a huge family: 12 or 13 people and many children, two or three luxury cars. The boys were different from us and covered in toys, with mountains of toy cars. Whenever they threw a party, the block filled up with cars and people came from the Police and the Army. They were the first to have a color TV.
After the police caught them, there was a memory of the press with a picture with all of those guys massacred.
